Entrance to the Gallery

Graffiti Gallery has two entry points.

The front door, accessed on Higgins Avenue, has a large curb, followed by 6 steps, which leads to the office space of the gallery. There is a doorbell to the right of the door for entry. This door is not wheelchair accessible.

The second side door, accessed by Gomez Street, has a curb to an indoor ramp. We have an EZ portable wheelchair ramp that fits over the lip in the doorway that is available upon request. The ramp measures 30.5” x 93” and is used to access the interior ramp in the gallery.

The door is not power assisted, a staff member will assist in opening the door and helping people into the gallery and down the ramp.

The gallery has a cement floor that is flat. The gallery and main floor bathroom are accessible to wheelchair users. The second level of the exhibition space is not accessible by wheelchair, having 11 steps from the main floor up to the second floor.

Washrooms

We have two gendre neutal, single occupant bathrooms upstairs in our office space of the gallery.

We have one gendre neutral, single occupant wheelchair accessible washroom on the main floor of the gallery.

All three washrooms are open to the public throughout our events and during gallery hours.
