Food Banks

Call Winnipeg Harvest at 204-982-3660 to register for a food hamper. You will need your Manitoba Health Card number. They’ll let you know your pick-up location and day. Usually you can use them every 2 weeks.

 

Light House Mission at 669 Main St

Gives out free breakfast and lunch most days.

Ray Inc. at 125 Sherbrook St.

Free hot meal Monday through Saturday at 1:00pm for youth up to age 29. They also have emergency food during their drop-in time or weekday evenings through Ray Street Outreach. Check out https://rayinc.ca or call 204-783-5617.

WE24 at M.E.R.C. 430 Langside St.

Overnight safe space for youth ages 13-26. Open Fri-Sat from 11pm -7am & School/Stat Holidays.

Agape Table at 364 Furby St

$1 breakfast or an emergency meal available Monday-Friday 8am-10:30am. Visit https://www.agapetable.ca to learn more.

Check-in with you school counsellor. They may keep a food cupboard.

 Look out for Bear Clan Patrol, Mama Bear Clan, or Thunderbirdz. They often have sandwiches and water for free.

 NorWest Community Food Centre at 103-61 Tyndall Ave.
