Teen Clinic

Open to anyone 12-21, Teen Clinics are based in some schools and health centres all around Winnipeg. They can help you whenever you don’t feel well. They also specialize in sexual health and offer stuff like birth control, STI testing, free condoms, pregnancy testing and free counselling. If you’re pregnant they can support you accessing pregnancy support, parenting support, adoption or abortion. Check out http://teenclinic.ca/ to find your closest location.

Community Health Centres

Community health centres can set you up with a family doctor or nurse practitioner. Unlike other doctors, they usually don’t limit how long an appointment is and have more than just medical programs such as support around housing and mental health and more. Winnipeg has a bunch of different ones around the city:

Access Centres are located around the city. They have medical services such as doctors and nurse practitioners, but they also lots of programs too including for new parents, and they house Employment Income Assistance (EIA) programs.

Nine Circles Community Health at 705 Broadway

Winnipeg’s STI and HIV clinic. They offer STI testing, free condoms, harm reduction supplies and supportive services to people living with HIV. On Wednesday afternoons they offer drop-in STI testing, or you can make an appointment for anytime Monday-Friday. Call

Women’s Health Clinic at 419 Graham Ave.
